Candidate FAQ (International)
Which documents do I need to have ready when applying for an International placement? How long are the locum term contracts that I need to commit to?
You need an updated CV, copy of your ID, your Medical Registration, all Diplomas and Certificates obtained and 3 Written References not older than two years.
Mouldmed will then supply you with supporting documentation that needs to be signed.

It will either be 6-12 months or 12 months or longer. To sign a contract for less than this stipulated time is not worth it for the Recruiting Company or the Locum.

What type of expenses am I going to incur when applying for an International Placement? What are my chances of finding employment Internationally?
You will be responsible for the payment of obtaining your visa, all medical testing, and your own air fare as well as accommodation if not supplied by the Recruiting Company. Your chance of being selected as the most suitable candidate for the position depends entirely on your CV and Qualifications. All supporting documentation such as certificates and diplomas strengthen your chances.

What salary could I expect to earn? Can employment be guaranteed?
Due to the variation in salaries between countries and between employers, no exact indication can be given. Your age, experience, qualifications etc play a role in the salary offered. In the end it is in the hands of the Employer.

The prospective Employer is the only one who determines which candidate will be interviewed and employed. We at Mouldmed ensure that the placement process goes smoother and faster. A placement is never guaranteed.

Can I take my family with me for the duration that I am there?
Two types of work contracts exist, namely Married Status and Single / Bachelor Status. This means that taking your family with you to work in a Country depends on your position. Medical Doctors will normally be awarded with Married Status which means that their spouse and children may accompany them. However their accommodation cannot be guaranteed by the Employer.
